Next Year's

Salmon River 5.5 Mile Run

is scheduled for

Saturday, May 11th, 2013

2012 Race Wrap up:  A day for records! A record 295 runners turned out to run the course and enjoy the warm temps and post race BBQ.  Tim Cote of Brooklyn, NY won the race with a time of 30:24, setting a new course record for men.  Shannon McHale of West Simsbury, CT was the first woman to cross the finish line with a time of 33:24, shattering the old course record for women.  Complete results for the race may be found here, courtesy of The Last Mile Race Management Company.

On behalf of the Colchester Land Trust, we'd like to thank everyone who turned out to give us a great race in support of open space, as well as all of our awesome volunteers who came out to register runners, hand out water, man the finish line, serve up food, entertain the crowd and make the event go smoothly.  Finally, we'd like to thank our sponsors, without whom the event would not be financially feasible.

We hope to see you all next year!

This year's race was made possible by the generosity of our sponsors, including:
